Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern all private chef services, catering services, cooking classes, and related events provided by Chef Kasz. By booking an event with Chef Kasz, the client agrees to these Terms and Conditions. A fifty percent deposit is required to confirm all bookings. Deposits are due seventy two hours before the scheduled event date. Bookings are not guaranteed until the deposit is received. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event unless otherwise agreed in writing. Pricing is based on the agreed menu, guest count, and service requirements. Menus may vary based on seasonal ingredients and market availability. Chef Kasz reserves the right to make ingredient substitutions when necessary. Clients agree to the final headcount at the time of booking. Headcount is used for menu planning, ingredient purchasing, prep time, and staffing. If fewer guests attend the event, the client remains responsible for the agreed headcount. Maximum guest count is twenty unless otherwise approved. All cancellations must be made in writing. Events cancelled seventy two hours or more before the scheduled event date are eligible for a full refund. Events cancelled between forty eight and seventy two hours before the scheduled event date are eligible for a fifty percent refund. Events cancelled less than forty eight hours before the scheduled event date are not eligible for a refund. Deposits for events that are rescheduled will be transferred in full to the new event date. Acts of God and events outside of a client’s control may be credited to a future date. Clients may choose to receive a refund minus the cost of ingredients purchased for the event. Chef Kasz accepts payment by cash, Zelle, Wise, and PayPal. Gratuity is not included unless stated otherwise. Clients are responsible for providing access to the event location, kitchen facilities, and any required building or villa permissions. Adequate kitchen space, tools, and equipment must be available unless otherwise agreed. Clients are responsible for ensuring safe and timely access to the property including gate codes, concierge communication, and parking. Clients must notify Chef Kasz of all allergies and dietary restrictions prior to the event. While reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate dietary needs, Chef Kasz cannot guarantee an allergen free environment. Chef Kasz may assist with party planning and coordination with third party vendors upon request. However, Chef Kasz will not advance funds, assume financial responsibility, or be liable for a third party vendor’s performance, cancellation, or failure to fulfill their obligations. Chef Kasz may take photos or video at events for marketing and promotional use. Clients may decline media usage by notifying Chef Kasz in writing prior to the event. To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability for personal injury, property damage, or financial loss related to services provided by Chef Kasz is limited to the total amount paid for the event. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the event takes place.
